My name is Gemma Hudson. I am a qualified integrative counsellor and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy BACP. I have over twelve years’ experience of working with a diverse range of individuals experiencing different life challenges. I see individual clients providing a safe, warm, confidential environment in which to build a relationship of trust and openness.
There are many reasons for therapy and most often they cannot be reduced to a single subject. Below are a range of areas I have worked with:
• Sadness and depression
• Anxiety, fear or a general unease around existence
• Relationships and intimacy
• Self-esteem and confidence
• Anger and mood swings
• Child hood trauma
• Loneliness and isolation
• Stress and burn-out, career issues or academic stress, performance anxiety
• Addiction
• Issues with eating, weight or body image
• Sexuality, gender identity
• Self- harm
• Suicidal thoughts or ideation
• Bereavement and loss
I understand how difficult it can be to make the first step. If you want to talk more about the process then give me a ring or send me an email
